psychology_altOrientation Process

A soft landing for everyone

Starting day care is a big step for the whole family. Our two-visit orientation is designed to ease the transition for your child and for you.

Visit one · 90 minutes

You stay, your child explores

The first visit is together time. You’ll meet the lead educator, find your locker, settle in for a play and learn how the room flows day-to-day.

  • check_circle Meet the room’s lead educator one-on-one
  • check_circle Walk the daily routine together
  • check_circle Share sleep, feeding and comfort routines
  • check_circle Leave with a ‘first day’ checklist

Visit two · 3 hours

A short drop-off, with a midway call

The second visit includes a meal and a short rest. You leave the building, do something for yourself, and we call you at the midway point with a real update.

  • check_circle Includes a meal so we can see food preferences
  • check_circle Midway phone call from the lead educator
  • check_circle Photos sent via parent app while you’re away
  • check_circle Pick-up debrief and tweaks for first day
