A Gentle Start, at Your Child's Pace

Starting care is a big step, for children and parents. At Cuddly Bear Day Care Centre we take it slowly, building up from short visits to full days over your first couple of weeks, so everyone feels ready.

You stay, your child explores

The first visit is together time. You’ll meet the lead educator, find your locker, settle in for a play and learn how the room flows day-to-day.

A short drop-off, with a midway call

The second visit includes a meal and a short rest. You leave the building, do something for yourself, and we call you at the midway point with a real update.

How settling in works

YOUR FIRST WEEK

Short orientation sessions in your child's room, about half an hour each, with you close by. Come as many times as you and your child need.

YOUR SECOND WEEK

Half-day sessions across the week, so your child gets used to meals, rest and play without a full day all at once. You are charged only for the half-days during this time.

BUILDING TO FULL DAYS

As your child settles, we build gently up to their full days, guided by how they are going rather than a fixed schedule.
